ZIGExN Achieves the Equivalent of 100% Renewable Electricity Across All Domestic Group Locations
Achieves Carbon Offsetting Through the Procurement of “Tracked FIT Non-Fossil Certificates” via Enerbank
ZIGExN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Operating Officer, and CEO: Joe Hirao; Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime: 3679), has acquired tracked FIT Non-Fossil Certificates through “Green Ticket,” an environmental value trading service provided by enerbank Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Co-Founder and Representative Director: Kenichi Muranaka). Through this initiative, ZIGExN has effectively achieved 100% renewable energy (Note 1) for electricity consumed at all domestic group locations in FY2025/3 and FY2026/3, effectively reducing CO2 emissions from electricity consumption to zero.

■ Background and Objectives
In 2021, marking the 15th anniversary of our founding, the ZIGExN Group established its Purpose, “Update Your Story – For a Better Future”. Since then, we have emphasized co-creating value with our stakeholders as a foundation for sustainable growth, while focusing on enhancing the visibility of our sustainability initiatives and strengthening our related information disclosure.
In recent years, growing interest in sustainability initiatives as a means of enhancing corporate value has prompted us to systematically compile and disclose our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance data in an “ESG Data Book,” which we have published since fiscal 2024.

From an environmental perspective, we began calculating CO2 emissions across all domestic group locations in FY2024/3, enabling us to assess our current emissions profile and consider measures to reduce them. As a concrete step in these efforts, with support from enerbank Inc., we have offset CO2 emissions attributable to electricity consumption by utilizing “tracked FIT Non-Fossil Certificates.” Through this initiative, we will further accelerate the Group’s transition toward decarbonization.
■ Track Record of Non-Fossil Certificate Utilization
In FY2025/3 and FY2026/3, we purchased non-fossil certificates and have continued to achieve the equivalent of 100% renewable electricity across all domestic Group locations.

Note: In both fiscal years, we secured certificates exceeding our actual electricity consumption, ensuring that the surplus certificates were used to provide a reliable offset.
In FY2026/3, we also newly offset electricity consumption associated with the activities of the 3×3 professional basketball team “ZIGExN Updaters,” owned by ZIGExN, covering six gymnasiums used for team practices and a total of 6,880 kWh of electricity consumption.

■ Outlook
Building on our efforts to achieve the equivalent of 100% renewable electricity across all domestic Group locations, we will work toward establishing medium- to long-term CO2 emissions reduction targets while further promoting energy-saving initiatives and raising environmental awareness across the Group. Going forward, we will continue to pursue both business growth and the reduction of our environmental impact, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
(Note 1) By combining electricity consumption with non-fossil certificates designated as renewable energy, CO2 emissions associated with electricity use are deemed to be zero, with the corresponding environmental value added.
