Service News April 22, 2026

Promoting Environmental Impact Reduction Through the Use of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) with DHL Express’s “GoGreen Plus”

We are pleased to announce that TCV Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shinji Sato), a group company of ZIGExN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Operating Officer, and CEO: Joe Hirao; Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime: 3679, hereinafter referred to as ZIGExN), has introduced “GoGreen Plus,” a transportation service provided by DHL Japan, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as DHL), a leading international express delivery company. The service has been introduced on TCV (https://www.tc-v.com/), TCV Corporation’s used-car export platform. Through this initiative, TCV Corporation has begun efforts to reduce CO2 emissions associated with international transportation.

■Background and Purpose

TCV serves as a platform connecting buyers in more than 200 countries and regions around the world with used vehicles from Japan, supporting the distribution of tens of thousands of vehicles annually. While cross-border commerce continues to expand, greenhouse gas emissions associated with international transportation have become an important challenge in addressing global warming.
The ZIGExN Group is committed to addressing social issues through its business activities based on its corporate philosophy of “Maximizing Opportunities in Life.” This initiative is being promoted as part of the Group’s sustainability strategy to address climate change, with the aim of reducing Scope 3 emissions (indirect emissions across the value chain) associated with the TCV business.

■Initiative

As part of this initiative, TCV will utilize GoGreen Plus, an environmentally conscious solution provided by DHL, to reduce CO2 emissions associated with transportation through investment in SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), an approach known as insetting. SAF is an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fossil-based aviation fuel and is produced from feedstocks such as used cooking oil and biomass-derived materials.

By providing participating merchants and overseas buyers using the platform with cleaner logistics options, TCV aims to raise environmental awareness across the used-car export industry and lead the development of a more sustainable trading environment.

■Future Outlook

Since its founding, TCV has contributed to the effective use of resources and the improvement of living standards in local communities by delivering high-quality used vehicles from Japan to customers around the world. As a company engaged in global logistics, TCV recognizes that reducing the environmental impact of transportation is an important responsibility. Going forward, TCV will continue to work with partner companies, including DHL, a leading global logistics company, to balance business growth with environmental protection and remain committed to operating a platform that contributes to a sustainable future for the next generation.
