Seven New Features Help Improve Productivity at Travel Agencies Facing Ongoing Labor Shortages

We are pleased to announce that Apple World Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Joe Hirao; hereinafter “APW”), a group company of ZIGExN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Operating Officer, and CEO: Joe Hirao; Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime: 3679), has completely revamped “APPLE WORLD,” its hotel booking platform for travel agencies.

As part of this update, the search platform and UI/UX have been significantly redesigned based on feedback from travel industry professionals, with the aim of reducing the workload associated with hotel booking and arrangement operations at travel agencies, which continue to face labor shortages. The time required from hotel search to displaying rates has been reduced to as little as five seconds—up to approximately one-seventh of the previous time (Note 1). In addition, a new “Booking Cart” feature has been introduced, enabling users to make arrangements for multiple rooms and airport transfers in a single transaction. Under the concept of “Making Hotel Arrangements Smarter,” the revamped platform supports travel agencies in improving operational efficiency and productivity.
