Continuing Participation in the 3×3 Pro League“3×3 EXE.PREMIER” in its Fourth Year

“ZIGExN UPDATERS.EXE (hereinafter referred to as ZIGExN UPDATERS)” (https://zigexn.co.jp/updaters/),  a professional 3×3 basketball team based in Kyoto City, Kyoto, and owned by ZIGExN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, Operating Officer, and CEO: Joe Hirao, Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime: 3679, hereinafter referred to as ZIGExN) is pleased to announce the roster of contracted players for the 2025 season, marking the team’s fourth year since its establishment.

As part of its sustainability initiatives, ZIGExN established “ZIGExN UPDATERS” in April 2022, a professional 3×3 basketball team based in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. The team competes in “3×3 EXE.PREMIER,” the world’s first global professional 3×3 basketball league officially recognized by FIBA and sanctioned by the JBA. Now entering its fourth season, the team welcomes four new players in addition to the five returning members from last season. In line with the team’s slogan, “UPDATE the YOUTH – Supporting the Challenges of Young People,” ZIGExN UPDATERS remains committed to empowering young basketball talents and supporting their professional careers in 3×3 basketball.

This season, the team will further strengthen its unity, aiming not only for victories on the court but also for contributing to regional revitalization in Kyoto and creating new value together with the younger generation through basketball.

“3×3.EXE PREMIER” is the world’s first professional 3×3 basketball league established in 2014, and is recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). In addition to Japan, many countries and regions, including New Zealand, Thailand, and Chinese Taipei, are members, making it the largest global 3×3 league. The league offers a new value in sports entertainment, blending sports with accessible top players, music, and fashion, creating a unique and enjoyable experience for all.

ZIGExN UPDATERS will begin their campaign with a match at WATERRAS (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on May 17, and will compete in all 8 rounds, aiming for victory in the PLAYOFFS to be held in September.
