ZIGExN’s ESG Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ZIGExN Group actualizes its fundamental principle of “maximizing life opportunities\u201d through various corporate activities, with the aim of contributing to society\u2019s sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In commemoration of our 15th anniversary, we established a new corporate purpose: “Update Your Story.”<\/strong> The phrase “Update Your Story ~ To your future,” embodies our wish for people to own and improve their lives through our services. We integrate this purpose not only into our business and services but also into our sustainability initiatives. In August 2021, we published our first-ever integrated report. In October 2024, we launched a new ESG data book. This book aims to help stakeholders, including investors, better understand our value creation process and our strengths and disclose our efforts related to ESG and SDG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, we will continue to update our disclosures by referencing various global frameworks, such as the Value Co-creation Guidance provided by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the sustainability disclosure standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2) and SASB standards published by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).<\/p>\n\n\n

The Sustainability Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the objective of understanding the impact of future climate change on our business activities and establishing a system for managing risks, we have established \u201cthe Sustainability Committee\u201d on January 1st, 2024. The Sustainability Committee and The Risk and Compliance Committee serve as a subcommittee under the Board of Directors. Chaired by the Representative Director, Operating Officer, and CEO, both committees conduct company-wide risk management and countermeasures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Risk and Compliance Committee is responsible for overall risk management and the reports of the status to the Board of Directors. Regarding climate change risks, the Sustainability Committee monitors the situation, provides guidance and instructions to the departments responsible for specific risks, and reports to the Board of Directors in collaboration with the Risk and Compliance Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have set up a system that allows us to measure and monitor CO\u2082 emissions across our group. Henceforth, we will take initiatives to set and achieve the mid to long term target of CO\u2082 emission reduction. Additionally, at our head office, we will promote sustainability efforts such as discontinuing paper cups and encouraging green products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From the perspective of diversity, we have set and operate the promotion of women\u2019s activities and the increase in the ratio of women in management positions as part of our materiality.
In order to produce the next generation of management, we are also working to expand our training system and create opportunities for young staff.
Simultaneously, we will work to create an environment where every employees can play an active role while maintaining their physical, mental and social \u201cwell-being\u201d, achieving their \u201cWell-Do\u208bBeing\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
